Shoot to Thrill — Building Gunfeel series media Prepared 2026-09-08. Public draft media, not a source-code release. PROTOTYPE IMAGES AND VIDEO Rendering and animation by Jean Brito. Rifle visuals adapted from “Low-Poly M4a1” by TastyTony: https://sketchfab.com/3d-models/low-poly-m4a1-8cab1cbeb82c4396a154f9fc8771417b Licensed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International: https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/ The model was adapted and animated for this prototype presentation. Arm visuals adapted from FPS-animation-POC: https://github.com/rdstrcorpse/FPS-animation-POC MIT copyright (c) 2024 ZeEndy. Full notice: arm-visuals-license.txt. These files contain rendered output only; no model files are distributed. CAPTURE SCOPE Both PNG stills and both MP4 clips use an earlier handling checkpoint. They do not depict the later unresolved walking/contact candidate. The source recording passed its render guard with 1,201 contiguous unique rendered markers numbered 1 through 1,201. The public viewing copies are: - handling-sequence.mp4: first 1,200 source frames, 20 seconds at 60 FPS. - recoil-sequence.mp4: source frames 481–720, 4 seconds at 60 FPS. - prototype-ready.png: unchanged source frame 120. - recoil-poster.png: unchanged source frame 620. Video is encoded as H.264 at 1280 x 720, normal speed, without audio. The original PNG sequence established the render checks; lossy viewing copies are intended for visual review. Fixture telemetry uses its own frame clock and is not asserted to align exactly to encoded video frames. CHARTS AND DATA Charts by Jean Brito with Codex assistance, generated from recorded prototype measurements. measurements.json supplies public chart values, units, and limitations. The walking candidate remains unaccepted. These measurements are not firearm physics or reference-game parameters. Output-size charts measure bytes, not model tokens, time, or billing. CODE EXAMPLES examples.py contains newly written standalone teaching examples, not private game implementation. The examples are intentionally incomplete as production validators; each article explains their scope. EXTERNAL REFERENCE FOOTAGE Links in the articles lead to the original creators' pages.
